If you have missed an enrollment period, you can still be eligible to join or enroll under special circumstances. Here is a list of examples: - Recently became eligible for Medicare and Medicaid
- Were enrolled in a plan and recently moved
- Entered a nursing home
- Have a low income
- Involuntarily lost prescription drug coverage
- Discharged from a nursing home
- Disenrolled from an employer’s group health plan
